Dare To Live Generously
Dare To Live Generously

If you have any questions or need assistance with your giving, please email April or call 530.273.6425, ext. 202.

Blessed to be a blessing.

God doesn’t bless us so that we can be comfortable and secure. He blesses us so that we can be a conduit of His blessing into this world. We are stewards, not owners, and He calls us to be generous with others as He has been generous with us.

Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. - 2 Cor. 9:6-8

Let's change lives together.

Your giving makes a real difference. It invests in reaching every man, woman, and child for Jesus, growing faith, and unleashing compassion in our world. Giving transforms lives — including our own. When we give, we reflect God’s heart and invest in what matters to Him, leaving an eternal impact.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on Earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. - MATTHEW 6:19-21

When we give, God multiplies.

When we give, we join in what God is doing here in our community and around the world. God takes every gift and multiplies it for Kingdom impact. Regular giving strengthens our faith and shapes our hearts to become more like Jesus — open-handed, generous, and ready to serve.

Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. - 1 Timothy 6:18

I want to start my generosity journey today.

I want to begin a lifestyle of stewardship today.

  • Why does God ask us to give?

In Scripture, God asks His people to establish a regular rhythm of giving. This is an act of trust and worship, and it’s a reflection of God’s lavish generosity in our lives. As we give a portion of our income back to Him, God teaches us to put Him first, to remember His provision, and to support the work of ministry. Intentionally and generously giving invites us into a life of faith - a way to honor God with our resources, invest in His mission, and open our lives to His ongoing care and blessing. It’s not about obligation, but about participating joyfully in what God is doing in and through His church.

  • How is my giving used?

Your gift is invested directly into the mission God has given our church. Every dollar helps create environments where people can meet Jesus, grow in their faith, and receive care and support. Your generosity makes possible the ministries that serve our church family, the outreach that blesses our community, and the partnerships that extend the gospel around the world. We steward every gift with prayer, integrity, and gratitude - believing that God multiplies what we offer so lives can be changed for His glory.

  • Where do I start?

If you are not currently giving, the best answer to this question is give something. Anything. Pray and seek the Lord's guidance so that He can lead you in your journey of generosity. Once you establish a rhythm of regular giving, continue to ask God to guide your heart and increase your faith as you give and He provides. Giving should always be a done in freedom and joy, as an act of worship for the One who has been so generous to us.

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. - 2 COR. 9:7
