What:
Many families in Nevada County are struggling to provide basic necessities for their children, let alone getting everything needed for the start of a new school year. That’s why local businesses, non-profits, and civic leaders are partnering together with Convoy of Hope to stand in the gap for them.
On July 26, we are throwing our second annual, completely free, back-to-school event to help struggling families get ready for the start of the school year. We will be handing out backpacks filled with school supplies, new shoes and socks, and lots of groceries. There will also be free haircuts and activities for both kids and teens as well as free lunch for the whole family. Join us as we love our neighbors and spread a little hope in Nevada County.
